It's Daylily Auction Time!!!
Since most of my daylilies are getting established and not ready for splitting and sharing, I have prepared to contribute a set of cards in a box... There are birthday cards, Get Well cards, Because I care cards and Thank You cards, a dozen in a box.
I would be pretty happy to bid on these. Still using up old paper, etc, but putting in the new too with my "Because I care card"
I love gardening. Spring has come and is gone for 2010 and summer is waning. The daylily blooms are spent, new cultivars are planted, and excitement of excitement, a few seed pods survived to be planted for the future. Who knows what surprises lie ahead for me. I now have something around 50 different cultivars of daylilies and will have 30-40 seedlings if all goes well. This has been a very exciting journey - learning about the daylily and learning how to hybridize. And meeting lots of new and wonderful friends in the daylily circles.
And of course I am still an avid stamper. I love paper crafts. I make cards, paper art projects, and am available for workshops and classes to teach you to make hand crafted cards for birthdays and special occasions.
I decided to incorporate better eating habits into my life last year and am trying hard to eat more raw fruits and vegetables and less meat and dairy products. I have learned to make chocolate candy from raw chocolate. I have made "cake" without flour or dairy products. In doing that I have learned that the cashew nut is a miracle food.
